Following her collaboration with Christian Dior Couture, Natalie Portman is now lending her image to another LVMH group brand: Tiffany & Co. Through this partnership, the American jeweler is celebrating not only the Oscar-winning and socially conscious actress but also the entrepreneur—the star of *Black Swan* and the *Star Wars* and *Thor* franchises is also a director and producer.
Ahead of the 2026 Oscars, which took place on Sunday, March 15, the jeweler Tiffany & Co. announced the appointment of Israeli-American actress and producer Natalie Portman as its new global ambassador. A Hollywood prodigy, this Harvard University psychology graduate is also a brilliant mind.
This move allows the jewelry brand to reaffirm its American roots as well as its support for filmmaking and femininity.
Since 2011, Natalie Portman has been the face of the Miss Dior fragrance.
The Contemporary Tiffany Woman
An artist renowned for her grace and acting prowess, Natalie Portman embodies a modern and multifaceted vision of femininity. Her commitment to meaningful storytelling resonates with the legacy of Tiffany & Co, which will celebrate its 190th anniversary in 2027.
In its press release, the jeweler founded in 1837 highlights the values it shares with the 44-year-old actress and producer. “Natalie’s sophistication, authenticity, and intelligence resonate deeply with the values of Tiffany & Co.,” said Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Tiffany & Co. He added, “Elegant and courageous, she naturally embodies the contemporary Tiffany woman. “We are honored to welcome her to the Tiffany & Co. family as we continue to shape the future of luxury through powerful stories.”
For her part, Portman said she was honored to join a house with “an incredibly rich heritage” and “renowned for its unparalleled craftsmanship and creative excellence.”
Restoring the desirability of the brand and its Landmark
Through the lens of Gordon von Steiner, Natalie Portman showcases four iconic collections from the past and present of the House: Sixteen Stone by Tiffany (1959), T by Tiffany (2014), HardWear by Tiffany (2017), and Knot by Tiffany (2022).
Another feature of this visual campaign is that the setting takes place against the backdrop of the brand’s legendary flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York, The Landmark, which opened in late April 2023 and is featured in Blake Edwards’ equally iconic film *Breakfast at Tiffany’s* starring Audrey Hepburn.
Renovated at great expense (over $350 million), the 10 floors of this flagship store account for 10% of the brand’s revenue. According to information gathered in late 2024 by Bloomberg, the store reportedly suffered from a sharp decline in foot traffic, which was accompanied by a reduction in retail staff, with the team shrinking from 90 people in 2023 to 40 in 2024.
A Millennial icon, Natalie Portman could attract a younger clientele to the brand as well as to the famous Manhattan boutique.
Actress prodigy
An actress prodigy, Natalie Portman made her film debut at the age of 13 (12 at the time of filming) in Luc Besson’s gangster film Léon (1994). She came to the public’s attention at the age of sixteen for her role as Queen Amidala/Padmé in George Lucas’s second Star Wars trilogy (1997–2005).
In 2010, Natalie Portman won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role as a ballerina in the American psychological thriller directed by Darren Aronofsky, Black Swan. In 2011, she began her collaboration with Marvel Studios through the superhero franchise Thor. In 2016, her portrayal of First Lady Jacqueline F. Kennedy in Pablo Larraín’s film Jackie earned her nominations at the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and the BAFTA Awards, ultimately winning the Critics’ Choice Award. In 2022, she reprised her role as Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Last year, the actress appeared in the adventure epic Fountain of Youth on Apple TV, directed by Guy Ritchie, alongside John Krasinski, Domhnall Gleeson, and Eiza González.
She will soon be starring as both an actress and producer in The Gallerist as well as in Netflix’s highly anticipated romantic comedy, Good Sex, set to premiere later this year.
A passionate advocate for creativity, sisterhood, and youth
Much more than just an actress, Natalie Portman wrote, directed, produced, and starred in A Tale of Love and Darkness, which had its world premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and its North American premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2024, Natalie Portman co-founded MountainA, her own production company based in France, with Sophie Mas. The company produced the animated film Arco, directed by Ugo Bienvenu, which was nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Feature at the 2026 Oscars, a title ultimately won by Kpop Demon Hunters.
And that’s not all: Natalie Portman’s production company also produced the black comedy May December, which was nominated for Golden Globes and Film Independent Spirit Awards. For this role, Natalie Portman was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) and received a nomination at the Film Independent Spirit Awards for Best Lead Performance. The company is also behind the HBO documentary series Max Angel City (2023), which follows the creation of the Angel City Football Club, a women’s soccer team founded in Los Angeles by the actress in 2020, as well as the Apple TV miniseries Lady in the Lake (2024), in which Natalie plays the lead role.
Finally, Natalie Portman also shines in another field: children’s literature. In the fall of 2020, she published her first illustrated book, Natalie Portman’s Fables, which became a New York Times bestseller. The book is a collection of traditional yet modernized fairy tales, such as The Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise and the Hare, and The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.
