Two men have been sentenced to one year’s imprisonment by the Bobigny Criminal Court for their involvement in the theft of pieces from the Balmain collection destined for Fashion Week in September 2023. This conviction follows a previous series of judgments in the same case, in which two individuals had already been sentenced to prison terms.
Two individuals were sentenced on Thursday to one year’s imprisonment by the Bobigny Criminal Court for their involvement in the theft of pieces from the Balmain collection, scheduled for Fashion Week in September 2023.
The sentence comes a month after a first series of convictions in the same case.
One of the convicts was incarcerated, while the other will serve his sentence under an electronic bracelet. A third defendant was acquitted.
In a previous trial on the same case, two individuals had already been sentenced to twelve and eighteen months’ imprisonment, while another was acquitted. The public prosecutor’s office, initially seeking sentences of six and five years’ imprisonment, has appealed against these judgments.
