To close its Climate Week, the LVMH Group highlights the environmental performance of its stores


From December 8 to 11, 2020, the French luxury giant organized its first edition of a digital Climate Week with the goal of raising the awareness of the Group’s 160,000 employees about global warming and the solutions deployed by LVMH to mitigate its effects. At the end of a cycle of 12 conferences, the event ended with a focus on the eco-responsible initiatives implemented by the Retail teams of the Group’s Houses.
For 25 years, LVMH‘s Environmental Department has supported the Group’s Houses in their efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of their stores. These initiatives are a continuation of the LIFE 360 – LVMH Initiatives For the Environment program based on four themes – creative circularity, biodiversity, climate and transparency – and a single watchword: “Be The Change”.
In addition to this program introduced in 2012, the LIFE in Stores Awards, an awards ceremony created in 2016, is intended to inspire all the LVMH Houses in their eco-responsible projects. Improving the energy performance of the Group’s stores is a priority of the LIFE in Stores Awards, one of the pillars of which is none other than the LVMH Lighting program.
