The Courtin family, founders and owners of the Clarins cosmetics and skincare group, is continuing its exploration into wellness by acquiring a stake in the French Evok Collection.
The announcement was made in a press release on Tuesday February 27. Famille C Participations, the Courtins’ family holding company, has made a 130 million euro investment to acquire a stake in Evok Collection. Founded in 2014 as part of entrepreneur Pierre Bastid’s group, with the aim of developing a range of luxury hotels, the latter already has six establishments, including five in Paris (under the Nolinski, Brach, Sinner and Cour des Vosges banners) and one in Venice (under the Brach banner) .
An investment of 130 million euros
“This 130 million euro investment seals an alliance between the two French family groups”, emphasizes the press release, which refers to a “long-term commitment”. The aim of the cash injection is to “own and operate around fifteen addresses worldwide within five years”.
