Since 2014, the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence, part of Bernard Arnault’s LVMH group, has been training apprentices in the luxury trades. Alexandre Bocquel, director of development for the Métiers d’Excellence at LVMH, believes that this institute is an undeniable success.

The LVMH Group’s Institut des Métiers d’Excellence opened its doors in 2014 with the aim of training new apprentices in the luxury trades in an appropriate setting, while valuing commitment, teamwork and the transmission of know-how by professionals to a new generation. “At the beginning, when we opened, we only had a few dozen students, at most,” says Alexandre Bocquel, Director of Development for the Professions of Excellence within the LVMH group. “But over the years, the success of the Institute has become increasingly clear.
