The results for 2025 confirmed the automotive industry’s struggle to perform : between the still-fragile transition to electric vehicles and trade tensions, some luxury brands managed to maintain their profitability while others saw their numbers plummet.
Ferrari and Lamborghini in the lead, BMW showing resilience
Ferrari can be considered the big winner of the year : with revenue of €7.15 billion, up 7% from 2024, the manufacturer truly stood out in 2025 for its resilience and exceptional profitability, thanks to a product mix that combined iconic sports models with highly sought-after limited editions. Its operating profit rose by 12% to €2.11 billion, while net profit increased by 5% to €1.6 billion, confirming very solid financial management. Deliveries remained virtually stable at 13,640 vehicles (-0.8%), with still no 100% electric model in the lineup, proving that Ferrari is able to generate excellent margins without relying on electric vehicle sales.
