Marriott International has entered into a partnership with the Italian brand Lefay, which specializes in high-end wellness resorts, to build a global offering focused on this rapidly growing segment.
The creation of the joint venture between Marriott and Lefay has a clear objective : to integrate this brand into its portfolio and make it the spearhead of its positioning in the global luxury wellness segment.
With this move, Lefay becomes the group’s first brand exclusively dedicated to the world of wellness. Marriott thus aims to capitalize on a profound shift in the expectations of high-end travelers, who are increasingly seeking experiences focused on health and relaxation.
A pioneering wellness brand
Founded in 2006 by the Leali family, Lefay has established itself as a leader in hotel wellness. The brand has developed a proprietary method, the “Lefay SPA Method,” which combines treatments, nutrition, and physical activities into a holistic approach to health.
