After being hit hard by the pandemic five years ago, the Champs-Élysées in Paris, Fifth Avenue in New York, and Oxford Street and Regent Street in London are once again riding high. And luxury is playing a major role in their revival.
Comparative study
The real estate consulting firm Newmark, with more than 200 experts and over 170 offices worldwide, has just unveiled the second installment of its series of studies devoted to the Champs-Élysées. While the first, published in July 2024, looked at the impact of Paris being awarded the Olympic Games on the commercial dynamics of the “most beautiful avenue in the world,” the new study compares its evolution with that of its counterparts, namely Fifth Avenue in New York, Oxford Street, and Regent Street in London.
