IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has revealed its spectacular growth in the Luxury & Lifestyle sector, now holding one of the world’s largest portfolios. This expansion, accentuated in the Americas, has been fuelled by dedicated expertise and considerable investment in the corporate platform to reinforce brand awareness, consideration and loyalty.

 

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, revealed its growth in the Luxury & Lifestyle sector on Thursday, January 18. Currently, IHG holds one of the largest Luxury & Lifestyle portfolios in the world, comprising six renowned brands representing 22% of its global pipeline, almost double its share just five years ago.

 

IHG has pursued its ambition through a combination of strategic expansion, dedicated Luxury & Lifestyle expertise and investment in its corporate platform to drive group awareness, consideration and loyalty.

 

Globally, IHG has reshaped its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio through notable acquisitions such as Six Senses, Regent Hotels & Resorts and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. In addition, the hotel group grew its iconic InterContinental Hotels & Resorts and Hotel Indigo brands, and also launched the Vignette Collection.

 

“IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio continues to grow rapidly. Success in the Americas

 

IHG’s brands in the segment encompass more than 800 hotels open and under development worldwide, nearly 260 of which are located in the Americas. “We have been very proactive in our growth in the Americas in this segment,” emphasized Jolyon Bulley.

 

IHG is also driving acceleration in this attractive region with a new team dedicated to Luxury & Lifestyle Americas, made up of experts aiming to boost the company’s growth in this sector.
