Gucci today revealed the name of its new Deputy Managing Director: Stefano Cantino. Reporting to Jean-François Palus, the ex-Prada and Louis Vuitton man will share strategic responsibilities, bringing his luxury expertise to the Gucci team.
The Kering Group’s flagship brand, Gucci, announced on Thursday the appointment of Stefano Cantino to the position of Deputy Managing Director as of May 2, 2024, under the supervision of Chairman and CEO Jean-François Palus.
In his new role, Stefano Cantino will share responsibilities with Jean-François Palus in defining and implementing the brand’s strategy.
“I am absolutely delighted that Stefano Cantino will be joining us at Gucci as we write this new chapter for the House with determination and a long-term vision,” said Jean-François Palus. “Stefano will work closely with me, and in full alignment with the entire Gucci team, to implement our action plans across the company.”
