France’s Lectra absorbs American Launchmetrics

The French world leader in flexible materials cutting acquires a majority stake in the American start-up Launchmetrics, specialized in digital marketing for the fashion and beauty industries. This is Lectra’s seventh acquisition in six years!

 

Lectra continues its impressive expansion.

The ETI based near Bordeaux, world leader in flexible materials cutting, has just announced its seventh acquisition in six years.

And not the least, because it’s the purchase, for $85 million, of 50.3% of the capital of Launchmetrics. Founded in 2015, Launchmetrics specializes in digital marketing for the fashion and beauty sectors.

 

Gradual acquisition

The remainder of Launchmetrics‘ capital is expected to be acquired in several stages, between 2025 and 2030, for a total transaction price of between $200 million and $240 million. The latter is based on expected double-digit growth in recurring sales and Ebitda over the period 2024-2029, Lectra said.
