Dolce & Gabbana ventures into the hospitality industry

The Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana announced its first real estate project on Wednesday, April 3rd. In collaboration with the developer JDS Development Group, the brand plans to construct a hotel building in the heart of Miami.

It’s a first for the Italian luxury brand. On Wednesday, April 3rd, Dolce & Gabbana unveiled its hotel building project, the 888 Brickell Condo Hotel. Located in the city of Miami and conceived in partnership with the real estate developer JDS Development Group, this luxurious establishment incorporates all the codes of the brand through a glamorous design.

Spanning 90 floors, the 888 Brickell Condo Hotel plans to combine private residences with hotel rooms. Occupants will be able to enjoy six dining and beverage outlets, a restaurant on the ground floor, two bars in the main lobby, and a poolside bar/restaurant.

Among other amenities, the building will feature an indoor paddle tennis court, a fitness center, a golf simulator, as well as yoga and Pilates studios. An impressive offering that also includes access to a swimming pool, a cinema, a relaxation lounge, a billiards room, a children’s playroom, and a coworking space for permanent residents.

Made in Italia

The iconic colors of the Italian fashion house such as black, gold, and red are at the heart of the aesthetic envisioned by the Italian studio M2Atelier, tasked with translating the desires of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The intrinsic opulence of the brand will be expressed from the entrance hall with an impressive black marble staircase and the richness of the materials used in each space such as Giallo travertine, a yellow stone from the quarries of the Italian Prealps.

The 888 Brickell Condo Hotel represents a true standard of Italian lifestyle perpetuated by Dolce & Gabbana. The brand is taking the next step in its diversification strategy after already venturing into the hospitality industry during summer 2023. The Italian label had partnered during the summer season with several renowned establishments such as the Quisiana Grand Hotel in Capri or the resort San Monteros in Marbella, decorating the places in its colors for the occasion.
