Elected in December 2024 to the number one seat in the “Political Economy, Statistics, and Finance” section, the CEO of LVMH made his entrance to the Quai de Conti during an official ceremony on January 12. He is now part of this elite circle, whose 50 members are elected for life by absolute majority vote by their peers following the death, prolonged absence, or resignation of their predecessor. Academicians of moral and political sciences are distinguished by their extraordinary experience or intellectual influence.
