“As a Premium Partner of Paris 2024, Accor will deploy its complete vision of hospitality in the Athletes’ and Media Villages, in our hotels, at Club France and during the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games,” said Sébastien Bazin, CEO of the hotel group. “Let’s make this a proud occasion. It’s a time for us to make France shine. For Accor, it’s an opportunity to showcase our talents.”

Massive recruitment

Accor, in partnership with Randstad, plans to recruit over 700 people for the Athletes’ and Media Villages. This recruitment includes over 300 positions in reception, management and breakfast service, as well as 450 cleaning positions. Training for these new employees is provided by the Accor Academy, guaranteeing high-quality service.

After the Games, these employees will have the opportunity to continue their careers within the group, in line with the legacy concept promoted by Paris 2024.

Accor is also focusing on accessibility, with “Tourisme et Handicap ” certification for more than 330 hotels. Innovations such as an in-house GPS application for the visually impaired and adapted “Smart Rooms” demonstrate the group’s commitment to inclusion. Every detail of these rooms, from closets to bathrooms, has been designed to meet PMR (People with Reduced Mobility, editor’s note) standards, while maintaining a carefully considered aesthetic.
