The Center for Luxury and Creation, in partnership with Luxus+, is organizing its Luxury Summit on June 23 at the InterContinental Paris le Grand. The event will focus on the theme “Understanding what defines the value of luxury today: the invisible elements that matter.” Following a series of lectures and panel discussions, the day will conclude with the Talents of Luxury and Creation awards ceremony.
A packed agenda. On June 23, the Centre du luxe et de la création, a leading think tank in the sector that analyzes “the future of luxury,” will host the 23rd edition of its annual summit. Having focused last year on “the transmission of luxury in a changing world,” this year’s event will center on the current value of this sector.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., experts from major Houses and creative institutions will take the stage to discuss recent market upheavals as well as the relationship between the sector’s value and price.
Three panel discussions
The day will therefore be structured around three major panel discussions and punctuated by keynote speeches on the main theme. The first, scheduled for 9:40 a.m., is titled “The Art of Selling in Luxury: Creating Value Beyond Price.” It will feature presentations by Carole Benaroya, CEO and co-founder of Kujten Cachemire; Alain Moatti, co-founder of the Moatti & Rivière agency ; Steven Passaro, fashion designer; and Yves Abitbol, CEO of My Agency.
This roundtable will be followed at 11:40 a.m. by another series of analyses titled “When Luxury Transcends the Product: Its Societal and Cultural Role.” Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon, Deputy General Manager and Head of Wines at Louis Roederer, Marta Marcheva, Executive Director of Sup de Luxe Paris, Julien Tuffery, Chairman and CEO of Atelier Tuffery, and Gérald Barbier, President of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), will discuss this topic.
Hubert Barrère, Artistic Director of Maison Lesage, Jean-Louis Brun, CEO of Maison Brun de Vian-Tiran, Régis Mathieu, head of Ateliers Mathieu Lustrerie, Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, president and artistic director of the eponymous jewelry house, and Hugo Volpei, founder and CEO of Trone, will be interviewed starting at 2:20 p.m. on the future of luxury, as their panel is titled “Between tradition and disruption: building the value of tomorrow’s luxury.”
A highly anticipated awards ceremony
Following these three events, Jacques Carles, president of the Center for Luxury and Creation, and Riadh Bouaziz, founding president of RKF Group, will conclude the day’s discussions at 3:50 p.m., before a conference on creative trends takes place 40 minutes later. It will be moderated by Jacques Carles, Corentin Quideau, founder of Corentin Quideau Consulting, Thibaut de la Rivière, president of Sup de Luxe Paris, and Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc, designer.
They will then give way to the Talents du Luxe et de la Création awards ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m. In 2026, 43 artists were nominated in various categories such as Talent for Boldness, Innovation, and Invention. Last year, these three awards were won by Hugo Volpei, founder and CEO of Trone; Virginie Lagerbe, colorist and dyer; and Aurélia Leblanc, textile designer.
