The great Minuty rosé wine acquired last year by Lvmh will be showcased this summer in London thanks to an activation on the terrace of the Rosewood London hotel restaurant. The program for this “Villa Minuty” includes a southern French atmosphere, Provençal-style menus featuring the finest Château Minuty wines, and festive evenings on June 29 and August 17!
How can you think you’re on the Côte d’Azur when you’re in London?
Even with global warming, the challenge seems close to a backstage feat…
And yet, the Minuty winery, owned since last year by Lvmh, and the restaurant of the 5-star Rosewood London hotel have decided to take up the challenge.
Together, they have created Villa Minuty, an activation that began in the English capital on May 4 and will run until September, from 12pm to 10pm every day.
Immersion in the atmosphere of the Côte d’Azur
The concept? A restaurant set on the hotel’ s verdant Edwardian terrace , reproducingthe ambience of the Côte d’Azur and serving menus enhanced by rosés from the Château Minuty estate.
In terms of decoration, everything is in place to immerse Londoners and tourists alike in the warm and unique atmosphere of Provence.
A“wink” at the Domaine de Minuty, “remarkably well exposed on the verdant hillsides of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooked by the azure-blue waters of the Bay of Pampelonne”, the terrace’s generous vegetation and flora make you forget London’s facades and sidewalks.
Guests are then invited to teleport themselves to the South of France, recreated through a selection of decorative objects and furnishings – ceramics, wicker lamps, rattan furniture and delicate linens – typical of the region.
To complete the illusion and encourage relaxation, a swing has been installed, inspired by the one decorating the terrace of the Château owned by the Matton-Farnet family, the historic owners of the Minuty estate.
