Under the Californian sun: Nicole Kidman, the new face of Balenciaga

Already close to Balenciaga, Nicole Kidman will now fully embody the House’s style and DNA. The Australian-American actress has been named its muse for the autumn 2024 men’s and women’s show.

On Saturday 2 December 2023, Balenciaga presented its catwalk show in Los Angeles for the autumn 2024 women’s and men’s collection. Under the palm trees and the “Hollywood” sign in the background, one silhouette followed another, characterised by the House’s extrovert, sculptural style.

XXL trainers, models who looked like they’d just stepped out of the gym, references to 90s grunge, oversized suits, ultra-elegant tweed ensembles, draped evening dresses, second-skin jumpsuits, Haute Joaillerie pieces in collaboration with Jacob&Co…
