The Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack show details its conference program

The trade show dedicated to sustainable offers, Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack, is back from May 31 to June 1 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. Focus on the show’s program.

 

Some 70 exhibitors and 2,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event, which will feature a program of conferences on sustainable and environmental themes.

 

The effect of the governmental 3R strategy

 

One of the themes on which the first conference will be held is the national 3R strategy: reduce, reuse, recycle. It will ask the question if this is just a green label or a new deal in the ambitions of the government.

 

The conference “National 3R strategy: green varnish or a new deal?” will feature five speakers: Arnaud Rolland, CSR Director of Coca-Cola, Jacques Bordat, President of the Federation of Glass Industries, Géraldine Poivert, President and Co-Founder of The (Re)Set Company, Sébastien Jacques, Public Affairs Manager of Elipso and, finally, Alexandra Barthélemy, Purchasing Director of Sisley.

The issue of greenwashing

 

Greenwashing is a new term used in recent years to designate a process that consists in orienting the marketing image of an organization, company, business, towards an ecological positioning while its actions still pollute the environment.

 

Greenwashing reflects a misleading image of ecological responsibility of brands and will be one of the conference themes of the show. The conference “Are you greenwashing without knowing it?” will be animated by Amélie Deloche, Communicant at Pour Un Réveil Écologique, Benjamin Buquet, Co-Founder of Caruus, Veronica Susman, Founder of La Crème Libre, Guillaume Petavy Meynier, Global Brand Director of Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, Samuel Tomatis, Designer of Studio Samuel Tomatis, and Clara Hardy, Founder of Sericyne.

 

The ecological footprint of packaging

 

A second conference will focus on the environmental impact of product packaging and the speakers will try to answer the question “How to calculate the ecological footprint of your packaging?” . There will be four speakers: Adeline Houcke Leriche, Director of Brand Development for Lancôme of the L’Oréal Group, Sophie Labroussemolla, Head of R&D Packaging of the Rocher Group, Jade Garcia, Director of Scorelca and Régis Courtin, CEO of Donnons du Sens. On this occasion, they will also highlight their responsible packaging offers.

 

 

In addition to these three conferences, several “Success Stories” on recycling, eco-design, new materials or on the theme of reuse will take place at the show.

 

Luxury brands, packaging manufacturers, members of our steering committee… All are unanimous: the integration of the environmental issue is the key factor of success for packaging innovations. Driven by the necessity of the subject, Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack will present more and more sustainable packaging solutions and will bring an enlightened and sharp content to go further in the eco-design of tomorrow’s packaging” said Fabienne Germond, the director of Edition Spéciale by Luxe Pack.

 

The event that attracted 2026 visitors in 2021 will be back very soon and will be followed on June 15 and 16 by Luxe Pack New York, as well as on August 22 and 23 by Luxe Pack Shanghai. Luxe Pack Monaco will be held from October 3 to 5, 2022, while a meeting in Los Angeles will take place in February 2023.
