Pommery becomes a partner of Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC) and The Oval

The champagne group Pommery has signed a multi-year partnership with the Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC) and its preferred stadium, the Kia Oval. This will help better promote its brand as well as the Louis Pommery sparkling wine produced in southern England.

The Hundred Years’ War is truly a thing of the past… And cricket, the favorite sport of the English, is now capable of harmonizing well with champagne, the queen of French beverages.

The Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC), one of the ten major English clubs for this sport, has just announced a multi-year partnership with Champagne Pommery. The latter becomes its Official Champagne Partner as well as that of the Kia Oval (The Oval).

This oval-shaped cricket ground, associated with the SCCC, is located in the Kennington district of London.
