Supported since its creation, in 1989, by the ministry of culture and the DEFI, the organization at the service of development and promotion of the fashion sector. The renowned contest highlights emerging values of creation. And this relentlessly, covid or not!
With the contest of Riccardo Bellini, Mentor of 2023 Grand Prix and President of the Jury, Guillaume Houzé the President of ANDAM and Nathalie Dufour its founder and General Director has just lifted the veil on the members of the jury of the 34th edition. And all, with a very strong feminine majority, and very cosmopolitan.
Cosmopolitan profiles
These nine internationals’ personalities, with various profiles, will thus “share their creative and entrepreneurial vision throughout the candidate’s selection process”. They are, Climate activist Xiye Bastida, model and “lands protector” Quaninah Chasinghorse-Potts, international model, artiste, performer and writer Pat Cleveland, actress, producer and realist Zar Amir Ebrahimi, the fashion critic, writer and curator Angelo Flaccavento, the founder of STYLE NOT COM Beka Gvishiani, the international supermodel and creator of the brand Guest in Residence Gigi Hadid, the activist for gender equality and founder of SheSays, Trisha Shetty and finally, Margaret Zhang, editor of Vogue China.
These personalities are added to the permanent members of the Jury, representatives of the Ministry of culture, the DEFI and its private sponsors. Privileged Support
The finalists and laureates of the 2023 ANDAM Fashion Awards will benefit from privileged support in order to develop sustainably their company in France and internationally. For this 34th edition, an exceptional global endowment of €700,000 will be granted
The preselection of the finalists selected by the jury will be announced at the end of May. These finalists will then present their case to the jury members on Thursday, June 29. They will use their creative and managerial project to elect the 2023 laureates. In stride, the awards Ceremony will be held in the Cour D’Honneur of the gardens of the Palais Royale, under the tutelage of the Ministry of Culture. That’s a great spotlight for the lucky ones.
