Palme d’Or winner Sandra Hüller becomes Phoebe Philo’s new muse

Anatomy of fashion: Sandra Hüller poses for Phoebe Philo. With her androgynous face, lynx eyes and tomboy cut hair, the German actress embodies the anti-bourgeoise. She is the perfect representative of the young label.

For the launch of its second collection, fashion house Phoebe Philo features Sandra Hüller, the heroine of Justine Triet and Arthur Harari’s film “Anatomie d’une chute”. Crowned with the Palme d’Or at the last Cannes Film Festival, the feature film was caught up in a whirlwind of prestigious awards. On March 10, it won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in Hollywood.

Sandra Hüller, already a figurehead of European cinema, now enjoys an exceptional media aura. Her charisma attracted the interest of British fashion designer Phoebe Philo, former artistic director of Celine.

The actress confirmed her great talent in Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest, which won the Grand Prix at the Cannes 2023 Film Festival. Highly acclaimed at the Cannes Film Festival, she won the César for Best Actress at the Olympia on February 23. At 45, Sandra Hüller is no longer an unknown on the international scene. Suddenly, people are snapping her up! Her face fascinates, with its androgynous features, its lynx eyes and its garçonne-cut hair. Her atypical beauty, at once cold and warm, leaves no one indifferent.

In Justine Triet’s psychological thriller, she plays a dominant, unhappy, adulterous and bisexual woman in a couple. A character in keeping with the neo-feminist trend, in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

British fashion designer Phoebe Philo made no mistake. She has set her sights on Sandra Hüller as her new muse. Photos from her collection are posted on Instagram, including two of Sandra Hüller.
