Nicolas Luchsinger will take over as CEO of Buccellati on April 2, 2024, after 17 years with Van Cleef et Arpels, two Maisons belonging to the Richemont Group.
From April 2, Nicolas Luchsinger will head Buccellati, an Italian house specializing in jewelry, watches and luxury accessories belonging to the Swiss Richemont group. Currently based in Hong Kong, he holds the position of President Asia-Pacific for Van Cleef & Arpels, a French jewelry, watch and luxury perfume company linked to the same group. He joined the Place Vendôme jeweller in 2006 as Vice President Retail, having previously been Vice President at London auction house Christie’s.
Two decades at Van Cleef & Arpels
He will replace Gianluca Brozzetti, who has headed Buccellati for the past 10 years. However, the former CEO will remain on the company’s Board of Directors as Executive Vice-President. The latter participated in Richemont’s acquisition of the brand in 2019. “Gianluca will also retain the role of House representative in industry associations and in the partnership with Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana,” Buccellati says in a statement.
