New York Fashion Week opens the ball of shows with the designer Collina Strada. The London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks will follow to close this Spring-Summer 2022 season.
New York Fashion Week began on Wednesday, September 8, opened by independent designer Collina Strada and will end on September 12, with the show of Tom Ford (president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America).

We will find iconic brands such as Michael Kors (which celebrates its fortieth anniversary), Coach, Anna Sui and Carolina Herrera, as well as Rodarte, or Proenza Schouler. Oscar de la Renta and Helmut Lang have chosen to keep their shows live on the internet.
This is also the case of designers Badgley Mischka and Tadashi Shoji who opted for the presentation via pre-recorded video to present their collection. They presented brightly colored outfits dotted with flowers for spring. “She comes out of her cocoon, after being so protected and sequestered all her life, and suddenly blossoms on this cruise,” Mischka told Reuters.

In parallel, 12 emerging designers presented their men’s collection for spring-summer 2022.
