The international investment fund Bain Capital has formalized its acquisition of a stake in Les Hôtels de Paris, a subsidiary of the family-owned Machefert group.
Bain Capital‘s investment in Machefert, structured with the support of Wingate Investment Bank, comes at a pivotal moment : the group has just emerged from a long period of receivership and is embarking on an ambitious new growth strategy.
A leading Parisian hotel portfolio
Founded nearly three decades ago, Les Hôtels de Paris now operates 18 establishments : 17 located in the heart of Paris and the last in Saint-Tropez. The group’s hotels are distinguished by their location in iconic neighborhoods of the capital, ranging from the Marais to Montmartre and Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
