“Les Parfums de Marly” presents its new fragrance Percival

The niche perfumery “Parfums de Marly” unveils its newest fragrance for men, Percival.
Founded in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, “Parfums de Marly” is a brand of haute-parfumerie, inspired by the world of the 18th century and the splendor of the golden age of perfumery.
“Percival” was created by Julien Sprecher, in close collaboration with Hamid Merati-Kashani, humanist perfumer and talented nose of Firmenich. This marine water is intended to complete the collection of Parfums de Marly. Its name is borrowed from the mythical thoroughbreds of the royal stud farms, with a subtle balance of citrus and aromatic notes on a woody base.
To create this “niche fragrance with body and density“, the founder had to select high quality ingredients. Among the top notes, we find scents of bergamot and mandarin. For the heart notes, a mixture of jasmine, violet, geranium, lavender, coriander and cinnamon, all natural, have been combined. On the skin, musk blends with pepper, balsam fir absolute and to round it all out, woody spices are revealed in the base notes.

The choice was also made to use some of the original captive molecules of the House of Firmenich (Swiss creators of perfumes and flavors since 1895). Created from biotechnology, clearwood is reminiscent of amber and has a dark woody character close to patchouli. We also find Hedione (jasmine note and freshness of lemon) specific to the olfactory signature of Parfums de Marly and Ambrox (amber and woody notes) which gives Percival an exceptional power and hold.
The fragrance is revealed in a royal blue case, like an object-bottle, closed by a chrome-plated zamak triangle cap. Percival and its shower gel version can be found on their e-shop.
