Having joined LVMH a decade ago, first as CEO of Acqua di Parma and then in senior positions at Bvlgari since 2022, the Italian will replace Jean Christophe Babin as CEO of the jewelry and watchmaker this summer. Her predecessor will remain CEO of Bvlgari Hotels and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the jeweler and the Bvlgari Foundation.
Bvlgari is preparing for a change in management.
Stéphane Bianchi, Deputy CEO of the LVMH group and Chairman and CEO of LVMH Montres & Joaillerie, has just announced that Laura Burdese will become CEO of the Italian subsidiary of the world’s leading luxury goods company on July 1, 2026. The luxury group acquired Bvlgari in 2011.
The future CEO, who will report to him, replaces Jean Christophe Babin, who had held the position since 2013.
Jean Christophe Babin remains within the Bvlgari ecosystem
“After more than 25 years of outstanding achievements, first at TAG Heuer and then at Bvlgari,” the LVMH press release states, Jean Christophe Babin will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bvlgari, while continuing to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Bvlgari Hotels and President of the Bvlgari Foundation. He will also report to Stéphane Bianchi.
