Lamborghini accelerates its ESG strategy: lower emissions, more employees, and a 100% hybrid lineup

Lamborghini’s 2025 sustainability report was unveiled on Thursday, marking a new milestone in the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into the automaker’s industrial strategy.

 

Through this 2025 sustainability report, Lamborghini affirms its commitment to making sustainability a central driver of its industrial development. Presented in accordance with the new European ESRS standards and consistent with international GRI standards, the document aims to demonstrate that economic performance objectives and environmental and social commitments can be pursued simultaneously.

 

Reduced Emissions Driven by the Hybridization of the Lineup

 

Lamborghini states that in 2025 it continued to implement its environmental roadmap, “Direzione Cor Tauri,” achieving measurable results across several indicators. Greenhouse gas emissions from its production facility, corresponding to Scopes 1 and 2, reached 27,122 metric tons of CO2 equivalent, a 9% decrease compared to 2024. Indirect Scope 3 emissions, meanwhile, decreased by 15% year-over-year.
