The Hyatt Group has unveiled a new phase in its high-end strategy, entrusting the global management of its luxury brands to Tamara Lohan while lifting the veil on an ambitious program of openings planned for 2026.
At ILTM Cannes, Hyatt officially announced the appointment of Tamara Lohan as interim global head of the Luxury brand. This decision is in line with the group’s stated desire to strengthen its position in the most upscale segment of the hotel industry.
A recognized luxury expert
Tamara Lohan joined Hyatt in 2023 following the acquisition of the Mr & Mrs Smith platform, which she co-founded and led for more than 20 years.
In her new role, she will be responsible for steering the group’s global luxury brand strategy, while ensuring the consistency of their identity and the excellence of the experience offered in each establishment.
