Located at the top of the Mohammed VI Tower, Morocco’s tallest skyscraper, the Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé marks the arrival of the Hilton Group’s luxury brand in the Moroccan capital.
Nestled in the country’s tallest skyscraper, this new hotel is part of a major architectural and urban development project that is reshaping the skyline of Rabat and Salé.
A destination perched in Morocco’s tallest tower
The Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé occupies a unique place in the African hotel landscape : it is integrated into the Mohammed VI Tower, a 55-story skyscraper rising to a height of approximately 250 meters, now considered the tallest building in Morocco and one of the tallest on the African continent.
Located between Rabat and Salé, on the banks of the Bouregreg River, the tower is part of a vast urban development project aimed at enhancing the appeal of the Moroccan capital. The hotel itself marks the Waldorf Astoria brand’s entry into the country, a first for the Hilton Group in Morocco.
Unlike large-capacity hotel complexes, the property has chosen to focus on exclusivity : it offers 55 rooms and suites, a number deliberately limited to reinforce its ultra-luxury positioning.
