Ferrari is currently being sued across the Atlantic by vehicle owners for brake problems. The plaintiffs claim that the manufacturer’s solutions are temporary and endanger the safety of drivers. The complaint raises concerns about Ferrari’s responsibility to guarantee the safety of its products.
The famous Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari is currently facing legal action in the USA.
Ferrari vehicle owners have filed suit against the automaker in U.S. District Court, accusing the company of failing to properly repair a brake defect.
The proposed class action, filed on Monday March 18, claims that the automaker offered only a “temporary” solution to a problem already encountered in the past, which now exposes owners to driving unsafe vehicles.
The complaint states that the only effective solution would be to replace defective master cylinders as soon as a leak is detected.
“Ferrari was legally required to disclose the brake defect as a known safety defect and failed to do so,” states the complaint, which seeks unspecified damages for drivers.
