Ferrari collaborates with Next Level Racing to bring e-sport car racing to Australia

World-renowned luxury automaker Ferrari has partnered with Next Level Racing, a manufacturer of racing simulation cockpits, for a multi-year collaboration to bring global e-sport racing to Australia’s Gold Coast.

Founded in 2009, Next Level Racing is a leader in the automotive simulation equipment industry. As part of the partnership, the company will provide Ferrari with simulators to help train e-sport racers.

Ferrari is the most iconic company in the world in motorsports and racing and to provide them with our products…is absolutely fantastic,” said Next Level Racing founder Hes Ghah.

A second person is also excited about the collaboration. The mayor of the city of Gold Coast, Tom Tate, called it an e-sports “coup d’État” for the region of Queensland, Australia, hoping that this initiative will boost e-sports and simulation sports in the region.

Tom Tate, who says he’s excited that the partnership will shine a light on the region, also said it shows that “innovation is alive and well on the Gold Coast”. He is also confident about the future: “We know that racing is taking the world by storm, so I can see racing happening on this simulator” .

Next Level Racing’s market-leading cockpits are already in Maranello, Italy, and are currently used by Ferrari for training and world e-sport competitions, Hes Ghah finally said.
