Designer Nensi Dojaka wins the LVMH 2021 prize

On Tuesday 7 September, the final of the LVMH competition took place at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. Of the nine candidates in the final, it was the London-based Albanian designer Nensi Dojoka who stood out by winning the famous LVMH 2021 prize.

 

It should be remembered that the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the global pandemic which brought many events to a halt. The €300,000 prize money for the winner was shared among the eight finalists of the 2020 edition. The fashion world is rejoicing as the 2021 edition went well for the following participants: Bianca Saunders, Christopher John Rogers, Conner Ives, Colm Dillane of KidSuper, Kika Vargas, Lukhanyo Mdingi, Rui Zhou of Ru, Charles de Vilmorin and Nensi Dojaka.

 

An Albanian-born designer who graduated from Central Saint Martin in 2019, Nensi Dojaka lives and works in London. Before launching her brand, she worked for Peter Pilotto and Fyodor Golan.
