In London, the health crisis does not stop fashion. Those responsible for Fashion Week in the English capital have decided to organize this meeting online only, reports The Guardian.
The president of the British Fashion Council, Caroline Rush, announced it in a press release yesterday Monday, April 20.
Women and men collections
From June 12 and for a period of three days, it will be possible to view the parades but also to listen to podcasts or interviews on a dedicated “cultural” platform. This content, which aims to “best meet today’s needs” will remain online for 12 months and anyone can access it freely.
In these exceptional circumstances, no distinction between men and women will be made. During these three days, the collections dedicated to both sexes will be presented simultaneously while they are traditionally separated, even if some creators had started to bring them together. The Huffington Post recalls that other cities, such as Shanghai and Moscow, have also taken the initiative to broadcast their Fashion Week online.
