Coronavirus: Tiffany & Co and Tod’s makes a major donation

In the current context of a global pandemic, the Tod’s group and the Tiffany & Co foundation have pledged to donate millions of euros to fight the Covid-19.


Tiffany & Co releases one million dollars to fight the health crisis


It is not one, but two charitable funds that decided to support the American foundation Tiffany & Co.


75% of the total amount is donated to the World Health Organization (WHO), for a fair and equitable distribution internationally, when the second part, 250,000 dollars, comes to the assistance of the city of New York.


Created in 2000, the Tiffany and Co company is very committed, it mainly supports environmental protection and the preservation of wildlife, like its commitment alongside “Wildlife Conservation Network” in 2017.


By giving the sum of one million dollars today to fight the Covid-19, the house, just bought by the LVMH group, takes another step in the responsible action of successful companies.


Tod’s undertakes to support the Protezione Civile by making a donation of 5 million euros


Considered one of the 3 countries most affected by Covid-19, Italy is suffering the full force of the epidemic and its consequences.


Involved in this crisis, the Della Valle family, owner of the Tod’s group has pledged to pay 5 million euros to the Protezione Civile (rescue, assistance and care service for the population) which constantly works to limit the spread of the virus.

This fund called “Semper con Voi” (“Always with you”) aims to support all the families of health workers who have lost their lives.


After the luxury brands Gucci and Armani, the Della Valle family launches a call for donations destined for the Protezione Civile, inviting its customers and employees to follow its example to support the fight against the virus through the following bank account : IBAN IT66 J030 6905 0201 0000 0066 432.
