Through this collaboration, Pierre Hermé and Valérie Messika combine their know-how and the excellence of their company to produce Galettes des rois worthy of the name. Inside these, acting as a case: a bean, inspired by the Lucky Move collection.

Elected by lottery, the luckiest of kings and queens will have the privilege of receiving one of the twelve Lucky Move bracelets offered by Messika Jewellery House.

Our two Houses have many similarities, starting with the degree of requirement at each stage of the creation and manufacturing process,” explains Pierre Hermé.

For this occasion, Pierre Hermé reinvents four cakes: The Mogador cake, The infinitely almond cake, Brioche des rois infinitely hazelnut praline and The Royal Monceau infinitely almond cake, decorated with the seal of the luxury hotel.

The pastry chef’s innovation, constantly seeking new flavours, is reminiscent of Valérie Messika’s creativity, which each year brings out a new version of her iconic Move collection.

Our respective professions are two professions made of passion that require a sense of detail and precision. This is where this collaboration makes sense,” comments Valérie Messika.

This collaboration between Pierre Hermé and Messika will be available at the Royal Monceau Rafles-Paris, in the Pierre Hermé and Paris boutiques and in click and collect from 1 January 2020.
