Chanel started yesterday the last day of Paris Fashion Week with a show in the Grand Palais Éphémère.
The Chanel Spring-Summer 2023 fashion show was held as usual, at the Grand Palais Éphémère. The show was teased by a mini film featuring actress Kristen Stewart, filmed in black and white by photographers Inez & Vinoodh in the subway and in several places in the French capital. This cinematographic atmosphere announced a show with a very nostalgic decor, a video inspired by Alain Resnais‘ film “Last Year at Marienbad”.
“The allure according to Gabrielle Chanel, Karl, the night, feathers, sequins, heels: I love when things are mixed” explains the artistic director of the house, Virginie Viard about the collection.
Among the silhouettes, we find pieces in colored tweeds, with sequins or feathers. The jersey is worked, the prints are unstructured and the shoes are dressed in fishnet.
The light dresses show transparency and embroidery while the lace bomber jackets complete the look. This Chanel spring-summer 2023 fashion show tells a romance all in sensuality.
Ambassador of the Parisian house for nearly two years, Charlotte Casiraghi made a remarkable appearance. The woman who hosts “Les rendez-vous littéraires de la rue Cambon” also met Kristen Stewart, Diane Kruger, Naomi Campbell or Stromae and his girlfriend.
