[Luxus+ Magazine] Haute Couture Fashion Week: A host of celebrities present at the Chanel show


This week, Haute Couture is highlighted in the French capital. The opportunity for Chanel to show its know-how during a fashion show event in the Bois de Boulogne, surrounded by its muses and ambassadresses.
While it is rare for Chanel to change the theme of a fashion show from one season to the next, Virginie Viard, the house’s artistic director, made it her mission this year, by taking up the story of the equestrian show. “I am part of a continuity, while leaving room for experimentation,” she says in her statement of intent.

In the front rows, we found Julie Gayet, the actress Elsa Zylberstein, followed by Ines de La Fressange, the top Soo Joo Park, but also actresses Clémence Poésy, Karidja Touré, Leslie Mann and Sigourney Weaver. Muse and ambassador of the house, Marion Cotillard is a regular at the brand’s fashion shows. The French star appeared dressed in Chanel, wearing a micro-short bodysuit from the Chanel Cruise spring-summer 2022-2023 collection, combined with transparent veiled tights and XXL round glasses.

Making a rare public appearance, actress Keira Knightley stepped out in Paris just in time for the show. Sitting in the front row, alongside Marion Cotillard and Lucy Boynton, she was accompanied by her husband of nine years and father of her two children, musician James Righton. The actress opted for a black dress in lace and velvet with a delicate bow perched at the level of her sternum, the halter neckline was adorned with a panel of delicate lace and accessories, cinched Chanel, obviously.
