Bain x Altagamma study: the luxury market will ultimately remain stable in 2025

In the end, it was the most optimistic scenario that prevailed

 

Last June, the latest report from Bain & Company and the Altagamma Foundation, the Italian association of luxury goods manufacturers, predicted that the global luxury market would likely decline by between 2% and 5% in 2025.

 

The optimistic scenario prevails…

 

The two partners had also considered two other, more extreme scenarios, which they considered less likely. The most pessimistic scenario predicted a prolonged slowdown in personal luxury goods, with a market contraction of 5% to 9%.
