Audemars Piguet enters the hotel business in the Vallée de Joux

Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet recently unveiled its new museum in the Vallée de Joux, as well as the stunningly designed Hotel des Horlogers.

 

Located in the heart of the Vallée de Joux in the canton of Vaud, the famous cradle of fine watchmaking, the Audemars Piguet Manufacture has unveiled its new Museum, the old one dating from 1992, as well as the new Hôtel des Horlogers.

The architectural project was entrusted to a world-renowned Danish firm, BIG, led by architect Bjarke Ingels. The challenge was to perfectly integrate the new buildings into the natural environment of La Vallée, involving the choice of authentic and local materials.
