Following the recent departures of Harris Reed from Nina Ricci and Marco De Vincenzo from Etro, it is now the turn of Courrèges—owned since 2018 by Artémis, the Pinault family’s holding company—to announce the departure of Nicolas Di Felice.
A five-year tenure put to good use
In a press release issued on March 24, the fashion house highlights that the Belgian of Italian origin, trained at the prestigious Brussels school of La Cambre, has used his five-year tenure to revitalize the label founded in 1961 by André Courrèges, nicknamed “the Corbusier of fashion.” Supported by his wife Jacqueline, known as Coqueline, he himself left his mark on the 1960s with his futuristic fashion, featuring miniskirts and other sleek, geometric little white dresses.
