LUXperience(s): Rare Champagne joins the partners of the November 18 event

The EPI Group’s exceptional house will offer tastings of its champagnes to participants at the LUXperience(s) event, organized in Paris on November 18 by LUXUS PLUS. The event will allow its Premium members to treat their taste buds to extraordinary sensations and gather quality testimonials on the experiential dimension, now a must in the luxury sector.

Rare Champagne joins the ranks of LUXUS PLUS‘s partners at its upcoming LUXperience(s) event, which will take place on the morning of November 18 at the Morning Concorde (Hôtel de la Marine) in Paris and will also be livestreamed.

The EPI group’s exceptional Maison will take advantage of this event, exclusively reserved for Premium members of the Luxus+ Club, to offer these Happy Few a tasting of its sparkling beverages.

VIP access

The brand new Luxus+ Club aims to consolidate and develop the media’s community of readers, experts, and luxury enthusiasts by giving them VIP access to all of its events and livestreams.

Created in 1976 as Piper-Heidsieck’s prestige cuvée to mark the House’s bicentennial, and subsequently produced exclusively in exceptional vintages, Rare Champagne became a brand in its own right in 2018 within the EPI Group.

Owned by the Descours family, the group is committed to preserving remarkable expertise and, in addition to Piper-Heidsieck and Rare Champagne, owns the Charles Heidsieck House, Chateau la Verrerie wines (AOC Lubéron), the Italian Maison Biondu-Santi, and in fashion, the luxury manufacturer J.M Weston and François Pinet, one of the oldest French women’s shoe manufacturers.

At the beginning of the year, he sold the children’s fashion house Bonpoint, purchased in 2007, to the Chinese group Youngor, and in 2017, he sold the Alain Figaret shirt brand, which he had acquired in 2006, to the ECP fund.

A demanding process

Made from 70% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims and 30% Pinot Noir from the heart of the Montagne de Reims (Verzy and Aÿ in particular), Rare Champagne bottles undergo a demanding process, with a minimum maturation period of 8.9 years before being sold…

In 2022, the House obtained B Corp certification, which recognizes both its social (gender equality, etc.) and environmental approach: reduction of inputs in favor of phytotherapy, exclusion of pesticides and fossil fuels (replaced by renewable electricity) during the production phase, etc.

As part of the global Pink October campaign, Rare Champagne recently partnered with Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa on two initiatives—the sale of a delicate dessert and a Methuselah bottle of Rare Rosé Millésime 2014, decorated by artist William Amor—to raise funds for the Champagne Breast Institute (LISA).

Awakening the senses and knowledge

On November 18, participants will have the opportunity to awaken their senses by discovering or rediscovering this rare beverage and to learn about the growing importance of the experiential aspect of luxury through high-quality testimonials.

In addition to a preview presentation of the Sociovision (IFOP Group) x Luxus Plus study, they will be able to attend a series of two round tables on the customer experience.

These will feature experts such as Rémy Oudghiri (Ifop Group), Véronique Lepinay (ISG Luxury Program), Maud Lagarde (formerly LVMH), Tony Pinville (formerly Heuritech), Pascal Malotti (Valtech), Capucine Jourde (Louis Vuitton), Bertrand Petyt (Orient Express Sailing Yachts), Stanislas Vignon (LVMH), and Dr. Estelle Dinh (Attixs Global Collection SA).
