The grandson of the founder of the Italian menswear group, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is handing over the reins to the company’s current CFO, Gianluca Tagliabue. Gildo’s two sons, Edoardo and Angelo, are also stepping up their involvement, taking on joint management of the Zegna brand.

 

The Ermenegildo Zegna group is changing its governance structure.

 

After welcoming a new CEO to Thom Browne, one of its three brands alongside Zegna and Tom Ford Fashion, last September, the Milan-based menswear and textile group has just announced that, starting in January, part of the operational management will be transferred to the CFO and the fourth generation.

 

A change of gear for Gildo Zegna

 

After twenty years in the role, Ermenegildo, known as Gildo Zegna, the founder’s grandson, is handing over the reins to the current CFO, Gianluca Tagliabue.
