Kylian Mbappé, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, has just announced that he will be the new Dior muse for its famous perfume “Eau sauvage”.

The star striker of Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé will lend his image to the famous Dior fragrance “Sauvage“. But that’s not all, he will also represent the creations of Kim Jones, artistic director of Dior men’s collections. “The house of Dior is today particularly happy to welcome Kylian Mbappé with whom it shares the same values of requirement and generosity,” explains the brand in a note of intent. The world champion footballer thus succeeds Johnny Depp, Alain Delon or a certain Zinedine Zidane, one of the idols of the PSG player.

It should also be remembered that in early September, the luxury house had announced its partnership with the PSG for two years, accompanying the players for their off-field appearances, with gala outfits and others more casual.

A player who keeps his feet on the ground

Kylian Mbappé was born on December 20, 1998 in Paris, to a father who was an ex-football player and a mother who played handball. His world revolves around sports since his early childhood. After a baccalaureate STMG, he decides to devote himself to his passion for football and is quickly noticed. In 2015, he is recruited by AS Monaco and wins the league 1 championship for the 2016-1017 season. In March 2017, he is selected by Didier Deschamps to play his very first game in the colors of the French team. He will join the Paris Saint-Germain a few months later, in which he still officiates today. In 2018, it is the consecration with the victory of the French team in the World Cup of soccer, against Croatia.

But the young striker of soon 23 years keeps his feet on the ground, despite this dazzling success. He recently told Paris MatchHuman links are much more exciting (than money). Even from the less good encounters, I have learned useful lessons. It’s the life experience that counts, more than making money, even if it’s important, because we have families to shelter. Above all, I’m thirsty for discovery, travel, meeting players, different cultures…

The player also remains very attached to his homeland and intends to defend it on the field, as he confided in an interview with The Obs: “I was born in France, I grew up in France, France has given me everything. And I try to give it back, every time I play for the national team. Because France, it does things for people, and to me, my family, it has given a lot. So you have to be proud of your country.

Committed, Kylian Mbappé is also involved in many charities. In particular, the player is the sponsor of the association “Premiers de cordée” which offers sports initiations to hospitalized children. In January 2020, he also launched his movement “Inspired by KM” with the main mission of inspiring young people to achieve their goals.
