Versace has appointed Chinese actress Zhao Lusi as its new global ambassador. The latter has already expressed her love for the brand on several occasions and says she is “excited” at the prospect of starting this new chapter in her life.
Just days after unveiling its first holiday campaign featuring Hyunjin, member of South Korean boy band Stray Kids, the House of Versace took to its X account to make a new announcement: Rosy Zhao, the famous Chinese singer and actress, is the Italian brand’s new global ambassador.
In a press release, Donatella Versace made no secret of her excitement at welcoming the twenty-four-year-old celebrity to her “family“: “I love her style, energy and soul. She’s a strong woman“, continued the businesswoman who heads Versace.

The date of this announcement is not insignificant, as it is Rosy Zhao’s birthday. In turn, the latter took to social networks to express her admiration for the brand: “The power of Versace lies of course in its perfectly designed clothes and Italian craftsmanship, but for me, the real power of Versace is [the strength it gives me when I wear it]“, she declared before thanking Donatella.
