Due to take place on November 5, the tenth edition of the Only Watch event has been cancelled. Organized by Luc Pettavino in aid of the fight against muscular dystrophy, the charity auction had announced over sixty pieces available for purchase.
The tenth Only Watch Jubilee was due to take place in Geneva, bringing together the world’s leading watchmakers for a noble cause : supporting the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (AMM). But two days ago, the AMM announced the postponement of the sale until 2024, following a controversy over the allocation of funds raised by the association, but also over its governance. “We wish to continue to move forward in harmony with the community that has mobilized around this unique and ambitious charitable and scientific project, and we therefore take the decision to postpone the auction until 2024” announced the WMA in a press release.
