The Ritz Paris achieves GSTC certification, recognised by the UN and WTO

The famous palace is the first French hotel to obtain GSTC certification, a guarantee of sustainable tourism.
The Ritz Paris has just been awarded the GSTC– Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification. The GSTC is a non-profit organisation recognised by the UN and the WTO (World Tourism Organisation).
The GSTC leads and sets high standards for sustainable development in the tourism sector worldwide. These principles verify that an establishment meets the “highest social and environmental standards in the marketplace”.

“Obtaining this certification is the result of a collective process that began almost two years ago, in January 2021. This process has enabled us to structure, mobilise and unite all the teams at the Ritz Paris with the aim of pursuing our commitments and enriching our daily initiatives. This certification marks an important step in the environmental, socio-economic, cultural and sustainability management commitments of the Ritz Paris”, says Audrey Peguret, Director of Sustainable Development at the Ritz Paris.
