On the occasion of the UEFA EURO 2020, the Swiss watch brand Hublot unveils an ultra-limited model in the colors of the 12 participating nations.

Postponed for a year due to the health crisis, UEFA EURO 2020 will finally take place this summer. For the first time in the history of the European Football Championship, the event will be held in 11 cities in 11 different countries. For the occasion, the Swiss watchmaker Hublot presents the limited edition Hublot Big Bang e watch, the official model of UEFA EURO 2020.

The new watch is inspired by one of the company’s flagship models, the Big Bang. However, being more functional than the latter, the 42 mm black ceramic “Black Magic” case of the Big Bang e UEFA EURO 2020 is water resistant to 30 meters. The watch has a rotating crown with a push-button, typical of mechanical models, to launch its functions. It is also equipped with an Amoled touch screen through its sapphire crystal.

For the official watch of the European Championship, Hublot has chosen a connected watch, equipped with an electronic module designed in partnership with other LVMH group companies. The module runs on Google‘s WebOS and has an application dedicated to soccer that allows the user to follow the progress of the competition in real time.

Thus, with a simple glance at the wrist, the Big Bang e UEFA EURO 2020 notifies its owner of goals scored, player changes, penalties and even cards. In addition, it is possible to follow the timing of the matches (half-time, extra time) thanks to the watch’s timing system. With a full day of autonomy, the watch recharges in only 2h30.

From the application, the composition of the teams and their position on the field are available, and fans are invited to download free dials in the colors of the country they support.

The Smartwatch‘s strap is easily interchangeable thanks to Hublot‘s One-Click technology, and bracelets in the colors of the candidate countries’ flags are available for purchase.

The Big Bang e UEFA EURO 2020 is limited to 1,000 pieces and will be sold from May 12 to 26 on the watchmaker’s website, and after that date, the watch will be on sale in Hublot boutiques, for a price of €5,700.
