For the 9th edition of the LVMH Prize, discover the 8 finalists selected this Thursday among the 1,900 initial candidates.

The LVMH Prize semi-final took place from March 4 to 9, 2022. During the event, 19 young designers selected from the 1,900 candidates were able to present their collections in a showroom and on the digital platform lvmhprize.com.

Delphine Arnault, Bernard Arnault’s daugheter, said she was delighted with the exchanges with the semi-finalists: “I would like to salute their talent and enthusiasm, and I would like to congratulate them all. I particularly enjoyed our discussions and was won over by their inventiveness, their way of presenting their know-how and craftsmanship, as well as their thoughts on environmental issues. I would like to thank the Experts for their involvement, as well as the public who took part in the vote for the second time this year: more than 62,000 people were able to choose their favourite candidate. This year, the designers who have reached the final of the LVMH Prize are from Canada, South Korea, the United States, Ireland, Japan, Nigeria and the United Kingdom. The entire jury and I will be very happy to welcome them to the final at the Louis Vuitton Foundation.”

We will have to wait a little longer to discover the winner of the LVMH prize, who will succeed Nensi Dojaka.
