“The Female Gaze” : Dior Talks debuts new feminist podcast

After a first rich series on the articulation between art and feminism and a second one on the history of all the women who have shaped Dior’s heritage, the French luxury house is back with a third series of podcasts entitled “The female gaze”. This new season gives the floor to three women photographers and designers who collaborate with Dior and contribute with their work to offer a radically new and progressive image of women. A contemporary outlook on feminism, which the couture house has made its voice heard.

When Dior Talks was inaugurated last March, the French house Dior entered the fast-paced world of podcasts: thirty-minute recordings exploring topics cherished by the brand, such as fashion, feminism, art, culture and society.

 

After a first season on feminist art and a second on the influence that women have had on the life and career of fashion designer Christian Dior, the brand is renewing its commitment to women by introducing a third series on its Dior Talks podcast channel inspired by the writings of feminist film theorist Laura Mulvey.
