Rebag’s fourth Clair study reveals the major trends in the second-hand luxury market in 2023. Telfor, pink and quiet luxury are the big winners.
Which luxury products achieved the highest resale scores in 2023?
As second-hand continues to gain ground in the luxury sector, the fourth edition of Rebag’s annual Clair report once again proves to be a mine of information for Maisons and aficionados of this practice…
Founded by Charles Gorra in 2014, the American Rebag is establishing itself as a phygital leader in this universe (with an e-commerce platform and five points of sale in New York, Los Angeles and Florida), thanks to which it is possible to sell, consign and buy pre-owned luxury accessories, such as bags, watches and jewelry.
Its intelligent Clair technology uses millions of data points to determine the value and price of an item on Rebag, and enables customers to receive instant payment.
Rebag’s annual report, based on this technology, identifies underlying trends in the luxury second-hand market and highlights the brands offering the best resale values (or value retentions).

“The year 2023 has seen a number of interesting changes in the luxury resale market,” noted Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag. “The Clair report highlights the impact of primary market scarcity and price increases on resale value, the influence of pop culture on value retention and the continued growth of the pre-owned watch market, among other key data points.”.
